Denia Castle
: Large resort, founded in the Greek era, on the Costa Blanca. The castle and its surroundings shows remains of different periods: the Roman era, the Moorish era and the Christian era.2
Orihuela
: Small town on the river Segura near Murcia with little tourists with a cathedral (from Velázquez) and an Arab castle. The place has very long been the bishop seat of the province of Alicante, and this is still noticeable.3
Guadalest
: Mountain Village in the interior of Benidorm (25 km). Interesting monuments are the castle of Alcozaiba, the castle of San Jose (11th century) and a 18th century church in Baroque style. The tourist village is almost entirely car-free and is only to view by foot.4
island Tabarca
: Small flat island of about 2 kilometers off the coast at Santa Pola (south of Alicante). The island is reached from Alicante or Santa Pola and is ideal for walking.5
Nature park del Carrascal de la Font Roja
: Wooded hiking area lying amidst limestone near Alcoi.6
Penyal D'Ifach
